Floral patterns and black pieces are a part of most of my wardrobe. Most of the time when I slip on a dress, it’s black. Many of my shirts are floral. Heck, I even have a ton of black pants and even one pair of floral pants.
Anyways, I’v really been into black floral dresses lately. With winter approaching, I know that I can’t wear my summer dresses. They look like they are made for warm weather, and even the patterns are too bright for the darkness of winter (I live in Minnesota).
I have a separate set of winter dresses (and fall as well) because I can’t use the same ones that I wear for the summer.
Due to my obsession with flowers (they are quite beautiful), I’ve always wanted to wear floral patterns during every season. but there wasn’t really any appropriate dresses that matched the colder time of the year.
Then I saw a black floral dress on Amazon one day that made all of the difference in my fashion choices for this fall and winter. I was INSPIRED.
Here are some of my favorite selections for this fall/winter’s floral fashions!
Just a quick side note: Dress #1 is my favorite and I’m probably wearing it to a wedding this weekend (I never decide FOR SURE what I’m going to wear to an event until the last minute).
The Best Floral Dresses For Fall/Winter
1. V-Neck Elegant Floral Dress (With Pockets!)
This dress is perfect for cocktails parties, weddings, or going to church. It’s modest but form fitting, and I love how it makes my legs look extra long!
I bought the dress myself as it is VERY reasonable in price (my dress is a different pattern than the one shown above-there are many patterns to choose from).
Update on this dress: I did not wear it to the wedding because unfortunately the skirt faded slightly in the wash (I am returning it). That was a deal-breaker for me but it’s not a big deal to everyone!
2. Vince Camuto Women’s Floral Sequin V-Neck Midi Dress

It’s formal, sleek and simple. It is on the pricier side but definitely is well-made.
