“Parenting Is Easy.” SAID NO PARENT EVER

Estimated Reading Time: 2  Minutes

I promise you that this blog is not meant to share the secret of perfecting parenting.

When I became unexpectedly pregnant at a young age, I was NOT READY. I read books, researched online, asked other moms, and did everything I could to make sure I knew the “correct way” of parenting. I stressed myself out because I thought I wasn’t good enough, that I wasn’t ready to be a parent.  Soon however,  I learned that there is no one correct way to parent.

However, I did realize that God gave my my son for a reason.

I am the best mom for my child, and you are the best mom for yours. This blog wont give you advice on how to discipline, or an opinion on bottle feeding versus breastfeeding. What it will provide you  are interesting stories, fun activities, age appropriate chore ideas for your child, and many other things that won’t make you feel guilty or inadequate.

I will never pretend that I know the answer.

Because that is what it would be, PRETENDING. All children are unique, and even after having my boy for almost four years now in my life, I still don’t quite fully understand him. And I never will, because humans are complex beings.

So you do you as a mom.

This is a no judgement zone. Because even though you don’t know your kid 100%, you know your child better than anyone.
